Part of an overall beachfront redevelopment master plan, this 13,800sf focal beachfront facility incorporates public washrooms, change rooms and lockers, a viewing platform and food preparation with vending services. The $1.25 million beach house represented phase one of a three phase agenda to prepare the Village of Grand Bend for the 2001 Canadian Summer Games, which they co-hosted as a member of the London Alliance. The total scope of services included the design of a 300-car parking lot, play areas, a 1.8 km boardwalk as well as services for a future marina.
