Situated prominently at the southern entrance to the University of Guelph, this six-storey, 120,000sf complex is a key structure in the completion of the University of Guelph’s Research Park. In addition to a 160-unit hotel, the $16 million complex contains an 18,000 ft2 conference and banquet facility to accommodate any variety of groups, as well as a 9,200sf restaurant and bar complete with full commercial kitchen facilities.

Special consideration was given to energy-efficient design, featuring an extensive living roof and rainwater harvesting. This project was developed with a construction management team to achieve almost $1 million in construction cost reductions.
